  • Day 1
    During these two days and a night at home, you will discover not only the largest bank of the Mekong at My Tho, but also the village through the natural channel that you will visit by horse cart.     Departure for the Mekong Delta, huge and fertile plain that constitutes the rice granary of Vietnam. En route, stop to visit a Caodaist temple.   • Day 2
    Breakfast at the host family.

    7.30am: Departure with the bike ride in the village to discover the daily life of the locals ... .And the boat ride to visit the market Thom 20km south of Mo Cay - the largest market selling coconut, visit coconut product manufacturing of 2km along the river.
    10.30: You will free the room and take the boat to return to Cuu Long port where you will join your driver to go to Cai Be and cruise on the boat Bassac.
    The Bassac is built entirely of wood, in a shell of "gỗ sao", the Vietnamese essence traditionally used for quality boats - something that is now rare. It accommodates 24 passengers in 12 cabins including a bathroom and toilet en suite, and has a very large upper deck covered with a wooden roof and bamboo trellis to accommodate meals and evenings in greater numbers. It can therefore, in combination with the Bassac I, take groups of up to 36 passengers on a cruise. It is also possible to arrange a child bed between the beds of a TWIN cabin on the Bassac II, just make sure that you specify it when booking. All the cabins are insulated against noise, and their windows are double-glazed. Regarding the environment, the Bassac II is equipped with heat exchangers for hot water, controlled by an automaton that maintains the constant pressure and temperature in the showers, and septic tanks. It carries city water in sufficient quantities for long cruises. Fire protection, and in general safety, are also central in the study of the boat, which is equipped with sprinklers and fire detection.
    Boarding at noon near the floating market of Cái Bè. Welcome drink, presentation of the boat and the crew, installation in the cabins.
    Departure to Cho Lách (Lach Market), downstream on the Tien Giang River. Lunch on board during the journey, rest on the upper deck, around the bar. Bifurcation in the Cho Lách canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of rice barges and sand, in a decor of fruit dryers and shipyard for wooden boats.
    Visit a village on the bank of the Măng Thít River, an opportunity to approach the way of life and hospitality of the inhabitants of the region. Visit the orchards or rice fields nearby. Boarding, welcome drink on board. Rest around the bar or on the deck for the sunset. The crew serves dinner while the Bassac returns to Măng Thít.
    The Bassac sails a little upstream of the Co Chiên River and anchors for the night, not far from the big bridge of My Thuan.

  • Day 3
    At 6:30, departure to Cai Be. Breakfast enjoying the scenery of the banks.
    The Bassac stuffs the peninsula of Bình Hòa Phước and engages on the First River, then in the arm of Cái Bè, between freshwater mangrove shores. Arrival in Cái Bè. Restitution of the cabins and transfer to a lighter boat via the floating market for a visit of Cái Bè craftsmanship. End of services mid-morning on shore in Cai Be. Then, drive to Can Tho and check into the hotel.
    After lunch, you visit Ong Pagoda to discover the culture of ethnic Chinese origin and Khmer Muniransay pagoda. Then you visit the over 135 years old Binh Thuy house and the museum of Can Tho.

  • Day 4
    After breakfast at the hotel, departure by motorboat to visit one of the most lively floating markets of the Mekong Delta - Cai Rang, with its hundreds of boats jostling and clashing against each other, while their owners try to sell their goods.
    The cruise along this river gives the opportunity to see the daily life of the delta inhabitants and an authentic Vietnam. Here, the real roads are the waterways, crisscrossed with sampans and boats. The Mekong Delta is crisscrossed by a multitude of canals, paddy fields and gardens, islands and villages punctuated by the pulsations of the river. Here we slide on the water with boats or canoes. The people of the delta have been shaped by the waters of the river that governs the lives of men, from birth to death. Everything depends on the Mekong: the work of the fields, the orchards or the rice fields, the fishing, the transports, the traditions..., then departure by the road for Chau Doc. Quick stop at Long Xuyen for lunch. Continue to Chau Doc - a nice little town near the Cambodian border with important Chinese, Cham and Khmer communities.

    Arriving at Chau Doc, visit of Mount Nui Sam- important place of pilgrimage of the area, the temple of the Queen of the country, the pagoda of Tay An. Installation at the hotel and dinner in town. Night in Chau Doc.

    After lunch, departure to the pier of Chau Doc. You will choose one of the options below:

    Option 1: Vinh Te Canal - Sam Mountain - Fish Farming Village - Cham Village - Floating Market
    The boat takes you along the Mekong, in the channel Vinh Te - created in 1814 under the Minh Mang dynasty; and Preah Ang Chan - the King of the Khmers. They used 80,000 Vietnamese and Khmer workers to dig 91 km long, 25 m wide and 3m deep. This channel covered Cambodia's Peam Provinces (Ha Tien) to Vietnam's Moat Chrouk (Chau Doc).
    You will stop at the port of Da Nui Sam Hotel where you will go for walks to visit the Ba Chua Xu Pagoda. Then visit the famous pilgrimage site of Nui Sam, 230m high. It is a sacred mountain for the Vietnamese who come on pilgrimage, which brings together many temples of Chinese, Cham and Khmer influence. Ascent to the top of Night Sam, you will see the Cambodian border. At the top Sam, you have a panoramic view of the Mekong Delta.
    On the way back to the port, you visit floating fish farms where thousands of fish are bred for export. . Then you visit the village of Chams in the city of Tan Chau, discovery of the embroidery and the mosque of the village. On your return, you will visit Chau Doc floating market before disembarking. And drive to Sai Gon.
    Option 2: Long Khanh Island - Tra Su Forest
    The boat will bring you upstream of the Bassac - the second branch: from Phnom Penh, Mekong divides into two arms and the Bassac becomes the largest arm of the Mekong.
    You will arrive on Long Khanh Island and will make a tour of the Dao Canal at Tra Su Canal. On the way, you will contemplate the wonderful landscapes both banks of the river.
    The boat will arrive at Tra Su Forest - located in Vinh Trung Commune, Tinh Bien District, An Giang Province. Go to the Tra Su Forest, you will have the opportunity to enjoy precious moments that live in harmony with nature as well as the healthy atmosphere. With peace and tranquility, Tra Su Forest will surely become a unique and attractive destination for tourists who love the beauty of nature. After discovering the Tra Su Forest, you will join your driver for the drive to Sai Gon.
