  • Day 1
    Arrival at Hanoi
    Hanoi, or its historical name entitled "Thang Long" which means "dragon in flight", was the main feudal capital of the country for hundreds of years, from the Ly Dynasty (in the 11th century) to the Dynasty of Le posterior (at the end of the 17th century). That is why until now the city of Hanoi still keeps the historical monuments, traditional and typical of the Vietnamese culture and the immortal values of the Hanoi’s people mind.
    Arrival at Noi Bai / Hanoi airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit of Hanoi "The city located on the Red River". Walk in the residential area where are the former Palace of the Governor General of Indochina, the house and the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the single pillar pagoda. Continuation of the visits of Hanoi: the temple of the literature (1st Vietnamese University of the 11th century), the museum of ethnography, the markets....Then the temple of Mount Jade, ride rickshaw in the old district guilds. The evening: spectacles of the puppets on the water. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 2
    Hanoi – Perfume Pagoda- Hoa Binh
    (130 km / 3h drive)
    Departure for the perfume pagoda, one of the most beautiful sites of Vietnam. On the side of a limestone mountain are perched pagodas and temples whose architecture blends perfectly with a very lush nature. Depending on the itinerary, from the pier, a paddling sampan takes you to the Yen River in 1 hour at the foot of the Perfume Mountain, but according to the rules of the pilgrimage, you have to make a stop at temple of the Presentations to ask the genius-guardian of the places permission to continue the journey. Then it will take you 3 hours to climb up the stairs and reach the pagoda of the Scented Footprint, a huge cave where stalactites and stalagmites form candelabra and altars. Back in sampan at the pier, then drive to Hoa Binh. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 3
    Hoa Binh – Mai Chau
    (65 km / 1h30 drive)
    Departure for Hoa Binh, a road that crosses beautiful landscapes of mountains planted with tea trees. Short stop at Muongs village in Cho Bo. Continue to Mai Chau. We leave definitely the flat country delta for the mountainous region. The first rice terraces appear, lined with banana groves. The habitat is also changing radically. The countryside is dotted with thatched cottages, among which the Muongs house, which is recognizable by its sloping roof and low stilts. Continuation of road and arrival to the valley of Mai Chau towards noon, serene and splendid, below the road: it is a beautiful puzzle that looms the rice fields cultivated by white Thais, whose hamlets are scattered around the borough. Visit of the two villages Van and Lac. The expert fingers of white Thai women perform all kinds of weavings. Those in their group are based on combinations of lozenges or variations on wild bristles. Overnight at the hotel. In the evening: show with dances to Khene sound, and plenty of rice alcohol.

    Mai Chau – Son La – Dien Bien

    Departure for Dien Bien through the small town of Son La. After, continue the road towards the west. Discovery of beautiful mountain scenery, verdant valleys of rice fields and villages of black Thai minorities. Overnight at the hotel.

    Dien Bien – Phong Tho – Tam Duong

    Dien Bien Phu, symbol of the French defeat in Indochina, is also a very beautiful valley. Visit the remains of the old battlefield, hills, museum and General De Castrie's PC. Lunch, then drive to Tam Duong passing Phong Tho, a small town located 70 km from Lai Chau, former prefecture of Thai white. Installation, and overnight at the hotel.

    Tam Duong - Sapa

    Drive to Sapa through a region where alternate virgin forests, waterfalls and rice terraces. Take a look at Thac Bac Falls before arriving in Sapa. Arriving at Sapa, the French settlers, attracted by the climate and the beauty of the landscape, had made Sapa a mountain resort. The city is located at 1650m, at the foot of Mount Fanxipan highest point of Vietnam at 3142m. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 7
    Sa Pa – Bac Ha – Sa Pa

    Quaint, authentic and colorful: the weekly Bac Ha fair held on Sunday morning. Between 7 am and 9 am, roads and mountain tracks are very lively. There, a peasant pulls his donkey who does not want to move forward. Here, another holds a piglet at the end of a leash by pushing it with a bamboo whip. Others, wiser, prefer to carry the little pigs on the platform to avoid losing weight on the way to the fair. Some go by couple, the woman carrying on the back the stack of hoods that she braided, the man the jerry can of alcohol that he distilled. They put on their best clothes. Turbans of all shapes, red, blue or black, cross simpler chests planted with fresh tea leaves or embellished with silver coins. The colorful H'mong women and girls have donned their most beautiful skirts, all folded, that oscillate right and left with each step, making the grandmothers look like children. The tunics are finely embroidered and the aprons shimmering. The sellers offer basic necessities (groceries, books and school supplies, toiletries, haberdashery), relayed, according to rotations which differ, by the peasants who came to sell their production (vegetables, breeding, handicrafts). Finally women calculate the benefit of the day or compare the products, the girls are beautiful, the men clink at the rice alcohol while discussing horses and land. Walk to visit hamlets around Bac Ha: Ban Pho 1 and Ban Pho 2, inhabited by ethnic H'mong variegated. Visit the abandoned house of Huang A Tuong, a former H'mong chief. Back to Sapa. Overnight at the hotel.
    Note : Bac Ha market opens every Sunday, so if your stay does not fall on a Sunday, we suggest you either change the route a bit, or we'll take you to other authentic ethnic markets as, the market Coc Ly on Tuesday morning, the market Lung Khau Nhin Thursday morning or Can Cau market on Saturday morning.

    Sa Pa- Y Linh Ho- Lao Chai- Ta Van- Lao Cai – Night train for Hanoi
    After breakfast, you will go to the village of Y Linh Ho where you will start your day hiking towards Red Dao, Hmong flower and Tay ethnic villages through the magnificent rice terraces. From above, you will have breathtaking views of the valleys : sources derived nearby hills, roofs balms are hiding in the shade and children laughing in the playgrounds. In the afternoon, you will continue the road to the village of Ta Van. Ta Van, which means "the great arc", is perched on the side of the Hoang Lien mountain. The village is located on the banks of Muong Hoa stream and surrounded by rice fields stepped forming arcs matching the mountain. Beyond the stream, we find the remains of votive steles, place of worship practices in Vietnam in the past. This area of ​​ancient steles has been recognized in 1994 as a historical and cultural relic of the country. It includes nearly 200 stone blocks of different sizes, carved images and ornaments inspired by the ancient mysteries of the culture of Lac Viet. At the end of the day you will have free time to meet the villagers, to ask them questions about their lives.     14h00  Visiting Thien Canh Son Cave in 30 minutes (the only cave in Bai Tu Long bay). We choose a less touristic time to visit both domestic and overseas by a rare natural beauty, pristine limestone stalactites and beautiful surround landscape. You will walk up about 100 stone steps, placed under the foliages and craggy cliffs which bring in a new feeling like climbing on the heaven gate’s side.
    14h30  Back to the boat and keep cruising to Cap La area.
    15h30  Arrive in Cap La area. You will swim and go kayaking in the area of breath taking landscape, quiet and peaceful, where many small islands with natural white sand beaches
    17h00  Back to the boat. Relax and enjoy the sunset party (from 17:00- 19:00) while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong - Cong Do area to anchor for overnight.

    Hanoi – Flight for Hue

    After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai airport and plane to Hue. Arrival and visit of Hue, ancient capital of the feudal emperors of the Nguyen of the 19th century. It has the most luxurious palaces and royal tombs of Southeast Asia, the most delightful gardens. With the perfume river, the harmonious hills, Hue is still the city of poetry. Visit of the Imperial City, the Old Quarter of Traders and the Dong Ba Central Market. Night at the hotel.

Continue to Hoi An, a village of unique charm that was, under the name of FaiFo, one of the most prosperous ports of Asia of the 17th century. The architecture of Chinese temples, pagodas and homes of wealthy merchants is remarkable. City Tour: Central Market, Tan Ky House, Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple.     Hoi An – My Son – Quy Nhon

    Excursion to My Son, "Sacred Valley" of the Champa indianized kingdom with more than 70 towers sanctuaries from the 7th to the 13th century. Enclosed in a natural amphitheater of hills, symbolizing the female nature, this site is the pedestal of Shiva, the privileged place of contact between the world of men and the cosmic world, a fabulous sacerdotal complex still full of mystery, despite the pangs of time and wars.     Quy Nhon – Nha Trang

  • Day 16
    Nha Trang
    We start the boat trip on the island of Hon Mieu. It has 2 fishing villages and some 2000 inhabitants. The transfer of the boat to this small port is done aboard a round braided bamboo net, a sort of large floating basket called "Thung Chai" in Vietnamese, it is extraordinary! We cross the village on foot to the small natural harbor in the bay. A real delight to get there. Continuation of the cruise to the island of Hon Tam, visit the Tri Nguyen aquarium.... After lunch at the restaurant on the island, you have an hour for swimming on the beach. In the late afternoon, return by road to Nha Trang, then walk on the bridge of Xom Bong at the mouth of the river Cai, beautiful panorama of the port with its wooden boats, blue and red. Visit of the Po Nagar tower (from the 8th to the 13th century). Night at the hotel.

    Nha Trang – Phan Thiet – Mui Ne

    Road along the salt flats and beautiful beaches of Cam Ranh Bay. On the road, stop at the Hoa Lai towers (8th, 9th century). Arrival at Phan Rang. Visit PoKlong Garai Towers (13th century) which are still the only seat of Cham religious practices in Vietnam. Lunch at Ninh Chu restaurant located on the beautiful beach. Continue to Phan Thiet, a small town on the Cai River, famous for its Nuoc Mam (fish brine). Discovery of the two Cham Phu Hai Shrines, built in brick dating from the 9th century when the transfer of the center of the kingdom of Champa to the south, the fishing port and the sand dunes of Mui Ne.     Mui Ne – Phan Thiet - Saigon

    Road to Saigon, through the plantations of Dragon fruit and rubber trees. Arrival and installation at the hotel. After lunch, discover Saigon, "the pearl of the Far East", the largest city and the largest port in the country. Visit: the former Catinat Street, the Cathedral, the Cho Lon Market, the Temple of the Jade Emperor, the Temple of the Protecting Goddess of the Sailors Thien Hau. Night at the hotel.

    Day 17: Nha Trang – Da Lat

    Road to Dalat. We leave the coastal plain and we pass the Bellevue pass towards the central highlands. Arrival in DaLat- nice little town of altitude characterized by the mildness of its climate. Visit the city center and the market with its rich stalls of flowers and fruits, the cathedral, Thien Vien Truc Lam pagoda, Xuan Huong lake. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 18: Dalat – Sai Gon

    After breakfast at the hotel, depart by road for Sai Gon through rubber plantations, tea trees and coffee. Lunch along the way. Arrival in Sai Gon and quick tour of the city center: the former Catinat street, the cathedral, the central post office. Night at the hotel.

    Saigon – Cai Be – Ving Long- Can Tho

    Departure for the Mekong Delta, huge and fertile plain that constitutes the rice granary of Vietnam. Tourist will be on board at the tourist boat station in Cai Be and welcomed with cold towels, fresh coconut. Boating and enjoying the fresh air on the Mekong river, the tourists visit the Cai Be floating market, the original style of commerce on the Mekong river. Visiting the local poprice, coconut candy workshop and knowing the ways bee-breeding tasting honey tea by breezy river. Boating to visit the local fruit gardens and a way of horticulture and listening to the traditional music, is the best chance for relaxation. Taking about 20 minutes for rowing sampan with discovery feelings. Crossing the Mekong river to An Binh island to see the daily life along the river.  Visiting the brick & pottery factory where the tourist  know how to make the brick and the pottery from the local clay and styles with the traditional technique.     Can Tho- Sai Gon

    After breakfast at the hotel, departure by motorboat to visit one of the most lively floating markets of the Mekong Delta - Cai Rang, with its hundreds of boats jostling and clashing against each other, while their owners try to sell their goods. Cruise along this river gives the opportunity to see closely the daily life of the delta inhabitants and an authentic Vietnam. Here, the real roads are the waterways, crisscrossed with sampans and boats. The Mekong Delta is crisscrossed by a multitude of canals, paddy fields and gardens, islands and villages punctuated by the pulsations of the river. Here we slide on the water with boats or canoes. The people of the delta have been fascinated by the waters of the river that governs the lives of men from birth to death. Everything depends on the Mekong: the work of the fields, the orchards or the rice fields, the fishing, the transports, the traditions .... season. Then you will visit the old house Binh Thuy. Madame NGUYEN bonjour,
Nous voilà revenu du Vietnam et du Cambodge il y a peu de jours.
Tous les amis du groupe de voyage et moi-même, nous voulons remercier Mandarin road et toute son équipe pour le très beau voyage que vous nous avez organisé aussi bien les paysages, les différents sites touristiques que les guides, les restaurants et l'hôtellerie.
Nous n'avons que des félicitations à vous adresser.

Bonjour Tina,
Nous voilà bien rentrés - depuis une semaine -  de notre voyage au Vietnam/Siem Reap, avec beaucoup de belles images dans la tête et nous voulons vous remercier pour l'organisation de ce voyage.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la diversité de ce que nous avons pu voir et des expériences vécues, durant nos différentes étapes: les sites, les monuments, les visites culturelles, les populations, la cuisine. Nous aimons partager tout cela avec nos amis à présent.
Coté "logistique", tout s'est bien passé aussi: les guides étaient intéressants et à l'écoute, dans des styles différents, les voitures étaient confortables et les chauffeurs ponctuels et efficaces.
Nous avons aussi bien mangé dans l'ensemble et aimé la cuisine vietnamienne. Quant aux hôtels, ils étaient pour la plupart conformes à nos attentes et confortables. Pour celui de Hoi An,remplaçant l’hôtel prévu, pour préciser mon  mail précédent, la chambre était correcte, soyez rassurée. C'est le petit déjeuner qui nous a "étonné", car nous n'avions encore jamais vu cela dans nos voyages: il fallait choisir un seul item dans une petite carte très réduite et en outre, nous avons dû attendre une demie heure l’omelette que nous avions commandée alors que nous étions les seuls clients présents...
Mais c'est un désagrément vraiment minime par rapport à l'ensemble du séjour chez vous !
Nous avons aussi apprécié votre réactivité lorsqu'il a fallu changer quelques points du programme.
Au total donc une belle expérience !
Nous vous souhaitons ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe Mandarin une belle fin d'année 2017.

Voyage au Vietnam.
 
Bonjour,
 
Tout d’abord merci pour cette très bonne organisation de notre voyage madame VU a toujours été à notre écoute avant et pendant notre séjour.
 
 
Concernant les points forts
 
1/ hôtellerie de très bonne qualité nous avons été surclassé quatre fois, au sylverland où on nous a proposés le dernier jour une suite , au famiana de Phu Quoc où nous avions une villa front beach ,au classy superbe suite et à la résidence wat boo .
 
A noter les hôtels suivants pour vos clients français :
La résidence watboo a siem reap
Le Grace boutique hôtel a mui ne
Famiana à Phu Quoc mais il faut une villa front beach pour éviter les nombreux russes Le silverland . trés bon hôtel nous avons sympathisé avec M VU KHAC DUY . exécutive assistant manager et nous recommandons cet hotel .
 
Il faut éviter l ‘arnaque de coucher chez l ‘habitant (du moins cette adresse.)
 
2/ Guides :
A anchor le guide exceptionnel très grande culture très serviable au top .
Entre siem reap et Phnom Penh le guide un peu limite à Phnom Penh très bon guide bonne qualité bonne culture serviable .
 
À Saigon et sur le trajet Mékong madame Lan n ‘est pas très professionnelle et peut être un peu dépassée.
nous avons vu le dernier jour plus de bâtiments autour de l hôtel qu’avec elle elle n ‘a pas de culture sur l ‘histoire les musées fait au pas de course c ‘est dommage nous étions en permanence à lui poser des questions souvent évacuées .
Sur le Mékong le Cochinchine très bon guide qui s est très occupé de nous très bonnes explications très belles balades visite à recommander à vos clients.
 
3/ voitures et chauffeurs toutes les voitures à compter du deuxième jour superbes chauffeurs très professionnels .
Merci encore nous ne manquerons pas de vous recommander auprès de nos relations

Je suis né à Hanoï d’un père militaire français qui a « fait l’Indo ».
J’ai voulu faire découvrir le Vietnam à mes 2 filles étudiantes sous l’angle « nature et culture » mais surtout leur faire rencontrer des gens authentiques et découvrir leur vie de tous les jours.
 
Plus que les traditions, l’histoire et les paysages, ce sont les Vietnamiens eux-mêmes qui sont la vraie richesse de ce pays, que j’avais déjà visité il y a une dizaine d’années.
J’ai donc choisi un opérateur local et Mandarin Road et leur programme a totalement répondu à mes demandes, parfois très personnalisées, notamment avec les séjours et les repas chez l’habitant.
On a ri, on a chanté, on a connu de grands moments de joie.

  Nous tenions à vous féliciter pour l’organisation de notre séjour en Thaïlande « Charmes de la Thaïlande »
 
Des vacances au cours desquelles vous avez su faire preuve de maitrise et de professionnalisme, autant l’accueil a l’arrivée a l’aéroport de Bangkok, le choix de l’hôtel, la qualité et l’exactitude horaire des différents transferts.
Tout cela nous a permis d’apprécier pleinement la découverte de la Thaïlande en toute sérénité. C’était notre premier voyage en Asie et nous redoutions car de plus nous ne parlons pas l’anglais et évidemment pas le thaï. 
Nous remercions particulièrement Mme Tina Vu et Mme Anna Nguyen pour leur efficacité a bien comprendre nos désirs en matière de découverte et a les satisfaire. Nous ne manquerons pas d’utiliser a nouveau vos services pour un futur voyage mais cette fois ci au Vietnam.
