You will find water everywhere in Vietnam. However, won't you surprise your friends by telling them that you have visited Vietnam by boat? By boat, just for you! A cruise, with a night aboard a junk in the mythical Halong Bay; the boat ride in the middle of the rice fields of the river Tail of the Swallow to make a pilgrimage to the Cave of the scented footprint, and to Hoa Lu to visit Halong earth, A cruise on the Perfume River to win the Imperial Tombs in Hue. It is from the famous Japanese Bridge that you will have seen the Thu Bon River in Hoi An. A boat trip and even a basket boat to reach the islands of Nha Trang Bay. Maybe you will be bathed in the China Sea in Phan Thiet? In any case it is on the banks of the Saigon River that you will have observed the incessant coming and going of the navigation of this great port, before going to discover the Mekong Delta, through its multiple arms and its canals.

  • Day 1
    Arrival at Hanoi
    Hanoi, or its historical name entitled "Thang Long" which means "dragon in flight", was the main feudal capital of the country for hundreds of years, from the Ly Dynasty (in the 11th century) to the Dynasty of Le posterior (at the end of the 17th century). That is why until now the city of Hanoi still keeps the historical monuments, traditional and typical of the Vietnamese culture and the immortal values of the Hanoi’s people mind.
    Arrival at Noi Bai / Hanoi airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit of Hanoi "The city located on the Red River". Walk in the residential area where are the former Palace of the Governor General of Indochina, the house and the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the single pillar pagoda. Continuation of the visits of Hanoi: the temple of the literature (1st Vietnamese University of the 11th century), the museum of ethnography, the markets....Then the temple of Mount Jade, ride rickshaw in the old district guilds. The evening: spectacles of the puppets on the water. Night at the hotel.
    Option : If you do not want to visit the city right away because of the long flight, we will offer you a traditional massage of one hour with a supplement of 15 USD / person.

    08:00 - 08:30 Departure in 3 ½ hours at the Hon Gai International Port
    12h00  Arrive in Hon Gai Harbor. Take a rest at Tonkin cruise Waiting Lounge before boarding time. Transfer to Tonkin Cruise Boat by tender (5 -10 minutes)
    12h15  Enjoy welcome drink then check in your cabin. Cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay and    having lunch with Vietnamese Set Menu.       
    14h00  Visiting Thien Canh Son Cave in 30 minutes (the only cave in Bai Tu Long bay). We choose a less touristic time to visit both domestic and overseas by a rare natural beauty, pristine limestone stalactites and beautiful surround landscape. You will walk up about 100 stone steps, placed under the foliages and craggy cliffs which bring in a new feeling like climbing on the heaven gate’s side.
    14h30  Back to the boat and keep cruising to Cap La area.
    15h30  Arrive in Cap La area. You will swim and go kayaking in the area of breath taking landscape, quiet and peaceful, where many small islands with natural white sand beaches
    17h00  Back to the boat. Relax and enjoy the sunset party (from 17:00- 19:00) while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong - Cong Do area to anchor for overnight.
    18h00  Take part in the Cooking Demonstration - Learn how to make traditional Vietnamese Spring rolls.
    19h30  Having BBQ dinner with fresh local seafood and local dishes. ( If the weather is good, we will have dinner on sundeck under the stars and the moon )
    21h00  Free evening to join some activities of board games (7 options), guitar free for play or squid fishing, karaoke (on request). Taste the variety of drink at our luxury sundeck bar (chargeable) with wines, cocktails, brandy, juices…

    07h30  Explore Vung Vieng Fishing Village: About 24 km from the mainland, Vung Vieng fishing village is situated in the center of  Bai Tu Long Bay. The village owns a pleasant, peaceful location with charming scenery. It is also home to keep the typical cultural characteristics of fishermen inextricably living with the sea. Guest chooses to discover the daily life of the fisher communities by bamboo boat (one hour) or kayak at Vung Vieng area (on request)
    08h30  Back to the boat and relax
    09h30  Checking-out and relaxing on sundeck.
    10h30  Having brunch and enjoy the scenery of the Ha Long Bay while the boat cruises back to harbor.
    11h45 Transfer back to our waiting lounge and Road to Tam Coc. Overnight at Tam Coc.

  • Day 4
    Tam Coc – Bich Dong – Hao Lu – Hanoi
    (120 km / 2-3h drive)
    Tam Coc is beautiful in an amazing setting of hills and karst peaks where appear and disappear a small river. After a 3-hour round-trip boat trip on the Ngo Dong River that winds between karst hills and rice paddies in a wonderful landscape "Ha Long Bay on Land", walk east to Bich Dong, the Jade cave which is a beautiful half-built temple, half-dug on the side of the hills (It was here the filming of the film Indochina). Departure for Hoa Lu, one of the ancient capitals of Vietnam in the 10th century. Visit of the commemorative temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le. Then climb the steps that climb to the top of Mount Ma Yen where we kiss the site. Up there rests King Dinh whose oldest royal burial preserved in Vietnam. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 5
    Hanoi – Perfume pagoda – Hanoi
    (140 km/ 3h drive)
    Departure for the perfume pagoda, one of the most beautiful sites of Vietnam. On the side of a limestone mountain are perched pagodas and temples whose architecture blends perfectly with a very lush nature. Depending on the itinerary, from the pier, a paddling sampan takes you to the Yen River in 1 hour at the foot of the Perfume Mountain, but according to the rules of the pilgrimage, you have to make a stop at temple of the Presentations to ask the genius-guardian of the places permission to continue the journey. Then it will take you 3 hours to climb up the stairs and reach the pagoda of the Scented Footprint, a huge cave where stalactites and stalagmites form candelabra and altars. Back to Hanoi. Overnight at the hotel.

    Hanoi – Hue
    (700km / 1h10 flight)
    Transfer to Noi Bai airport and plane to Hue. Arrival and visit of Hue, ancient capital of the feudal emperors of the Nguyen of the 19th century. It has the most luxurious palaces and royal tombs of Southeast Asia, the most delightful gardens. With the perfume river, the harmonious hills, Hue is still the city of poetry. Visit the imperial city, Dong Ba market. Night at the hotel.

    Hue
    Boat cruise on the perfume river to visit the pagoda of the Celestial Lady with its famous octagonal tower overlooking the river, the tombs Minh Mang, Khai Dinh, Tu Duc in an enchanting site planted with pines and dotted with ponds ...; the eunuchs pagoda. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 8
    Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An
    (120 km/ 2h30 drive)
    Drive to Da Nang and Hoi An. Pass on Cloud Pass, a spectacular mountain road. In Da Nang (Ex-Tourane), visit Cham Museum which contains the largest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Continue to Hoi An, a village of unique charm that was, under the name of FaiFo, one of the most prosperous ports of Asia of the 17th century. The architecture of Chinese temples, pagodas and homes of wealthy merchants is remarkable. City Tour: Central Market, Tan Ky House, Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple. In the late afternoon: Boat trip on the Thu Bon River for the direction Cua dai mouth. Night at the hotel.

    Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang

    Back to Danang, stop at the Marble Mountains. Then flight to Nha Trang. Arrival and installation at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 10
    Nha Trang
    We start the boat trip on the island of Hon Mieu. It has 2 fishing villages and some 2000 inhabitants. The transfer of the boat to this small port is done aboard a round braided bamboo net, a sort of large floating basket called "Thung Chai" in Vietnamese, it is extraordinary! We cross the village on foot to the small natural harbor in the bay. A real delight to get there. Continuation of the cruise to the island of Hon Tam, visit the Tri Nguyen Aquarium. You have an hour for swimming on the beach. In the late afternoon, return by road to Nha Trang, then walk on the bridge of Xom Bong at the mouth of the river Cai, beautiful panorama of the port with its wooden boats, blue and red. Visit of the Po Nagar tower (from the 8th to the 13th century). Night at the hotel.

  • Day 11
    Nha Trang – Phan Thiet – Mui Ne
    (220 km/ 4h30 drive)
    Road along the salt flats and beautiful beaches of Cam Ranh Bay. On the road, stop at the Hoa Lai towers (8th, 9th century). Arrival at Phan Rang. Visit PoKlong Garai Towers (13th century) which are still the only seat of Cham religious practices in Vietnam. Continue to Phan Thiet, a small town on the Cai River, famous for its Nuoc Mam (fish brine). Discovery of the two Cham Phu Hai Shrines, built in brick dating from the 9th century when the transfer of the center of the kingdom of Champa to the south, the fishing port and the sand dunes of Mui Ne. Overnight at the hotel.

    Mui Ne – Phan Thiet – Saigon

     (180 km/ 4h drive)

    Road to Saigon, through the plantations of Dragon fruit and rubber trees. Arrival and installation at the hotel. After lunch, discover Saigon, "the pearl of the Far East", the largest city and the largest port in the country. Visit: the former Catinat Street, the Cathedral, the Cho Lon Market, the Temple of the Jade Emperor, the Temple of the Protecting Goddess of the Sailors Thien Hau. Night at the hotel.

    OPTION 2: For those who do not wish Phan Thiet, Mui Ne and its beach, it is possible to climb to the highlands of Dalat

    DAY 11: NHA TRANG - DA LAT (140 km/3.5h drive)
    Road to DaLat, Arrival in DaLat- nice little town of altitude characterized by the mildness of its climate. Visit the city center and the market with its rich stalls of flowers and fruits, the cathedral, Thien Vien Truc Lam pagoda, Xuan Huong Lake. Overnight at the hotel

    DAY 12: DA LAT- SAI GON (320km/7h drive)
    After breakfast at the hotel, depart by road for Sai Gon through rubber plantations, tea trees and coffee. Arrival in Sai Gon and quick tour of the city center: the former Catinat street, the cathedral, the central post office. Night at the hotel.

    Saigon – Cai Be – Tra On

    The Boat take you into the greener areas of the Mekong Delta, overnight on the river and into the middle of the life about the river. They are entirely built of wood in the Mekong delta and according to the local marine traditions, and adapted for discovery cruises, open to outside and offering an immediate contact with the green surrounding of the ship.
    After breakfast at your hotel, you will leave for the Mekong Delta, the vast and fertile full which constitutes the rice granary of Vietnam. You board at Cai Be at noon, enjoy welcome drink. Have introduction to the ship and crew, check in the cabins. You depart towards Cho Lach in Tien Giang. Enjoy lunch, en route. Rest on the deck. The Boat slips into the Chợ Lách canal, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the river traffic, between markets and churches, a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life on the banks as well as on the water. Spend a visit to a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Board back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Boat is cruising Mang Thit River. The Boat sets anchor just downstream from the little Tra On Floating Market for overnight.

Arrival in Cai Rang Floating Market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier. And, you are transferred to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Bonjour Monsieur Tony DUONG,

Nous venions vous remercier pour ce beau voyage au Vietnam qui s'est bien passé grâce à vous pour l'élaboration du circuit, et grâce à vos guides à nos côtés pour les visites.
Notre guide à Hanoï était trés compétente et trés professionnelle, et nous a accompagné jusqu'à l'aéroport pour Hué.

 

Puis nous avons rencontré notre Guide HUE à Hue qui nous a agréablement surpris par sa maitrise de la langue française, sa compétence professionnelle, son humour, nous l'avons beaucoup appréciée, elle a toujours été à l'écoute de ce que nous souhaitions.

Les chauffeurs aussi ont été parfaits et les véhicules confortables et en bon état.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé les derniers jours à Hoi-An où nous avons découvert des petits villages, fait du vélo ... avec notre guide.

La seule chose que nous regrettons un peu est le côté trop touristique de la baie d'Along, il y avait beaucoup de monde et deux personnes de notre famille ont été malades aprés le premier repas pris sur le bateau (problème alimentaire ???).

Cela a un peu gâché les deux jours. Nous pensons qu'il vaudrait peut-être mieux proposer un circuit sur une partie de la baie moins touristique.

En conclusion, nous avons pu voir beaucoup de choses en peu de temps et cela grâce à votre organisation sans faille, et aux bons guides et chauffeurs.

Merci pour tout. À noter, les hôtels de qualité, toujours bien placés. Les repas étaient toujours dans des endroits superbes, surtout le repas d'accueil le premier soir à Hanoï ...Nous avons bien apprécié la formule demi-pension nous laissant libres le soir. Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander votre agence à des amis ou des proches.

Nous venons vous exprimer tous nos remerciements pour les visites que vous nous aviez préparées, visites qui nous ont donné entière  satisfaction :

Les qualités des  guides et des chauffeurs étaient à la hauteur de nos 

attentes.

Les guides maitrisaient parfaitement la langue française

et nous donnaient beaucoup  d'explications spécifiques sur les différents sites.

Donc satisfaction totale

Il est à noté que les repas servis lors des excursions sont également à la hauteur des programmes.

De retour en France, et des souvenirs plein la tête, nous tenions a vous remercier pour l’organisation de notre séjour.

Nous sommes désolés de ne pas avoir pu vous rencontrer mais nous n’avions pas beaucoup de temps le dernier jour.

Nous avons apprécié votre disponibilité et votre réactivité. Les guides se sont adaptés à nos demandes et les hôtels et restaurants choisis étaient de très bonnes qualités.

M. Duong,

Tel que demandé, il me fait plaisir de vous transmettre en mon nom et celui de ANNE toutes notre appréciations pour notre récent voyage au Vietnam. Nous avons adoré presque toutes les régions. Chaque endroit avait sa particularité, soit les montagnes avec les rizières, le baie d'Halong, les visites culturelles, les ethnies etc. Sans oublier la belle ile de Phu Quoc. La logistique fût excellente; il n'y a eu aucun retard. Nous fûmes reçu d'une façon très chaleureuse partout. Mais notre plus grande découvertes est le peuple Vietnamien, accueillant, chaleureux et toujours souriant, même si parfois certains vivent dans des conditions difficiles. En terminan, nous croyons que votre atout principal pour supporter toute la logistique du voyage est la compétences de vos guides. Ils étaient très connaissant de la culture Vietnamienne et professionnels dans leur travail tout en gardant une belle simplicité. Pour nous ils étaient comme des amis. Si possible leur dire que nous pensons à eux.(Vy, Kinh, Thang, Joseph.

 

Concernant les photos, je vais vous en faire parvenir lors d'un prochain email. J'ai eu un problème avec mon logiciel mais le tout devrait être corrigé bientôt.
