  • Day 1
    Kunming . Night train to Dali
     (1 hour of road. Altitude : 1800m)
     
    Arrival at mid-day in Kunming. Welcome by your guide, and then transfer to the New Era 4* hotel, well located in the city center of Kunming.
    In the afternoon, you will visit the Yuantong temple, most ancient buddhist temple of Kunming, and then by foot until the Emerald lake, where the locals love to gather with each other to sing, dance and play some music.
    Welcome dinner at the excellent Laofangzi restaurant located in a beautiful traditional Chinese residence in the old neighborhood of Kunming before the transfer to Kunming’s station for the night train towards Dali. Night spent in the train in a soft sleeping compartment.

  • Day 2
    Dali – Xizhou
    (30 minutes by car + 3 hours in bicycle. Altitude : 1900m)
     
    Meeting with your new guide and driver at your arrival in Dali’s train station. Transfer to the old town of Dali, and it’s small still quiet streets, to have breakfast. Stroll by foot through the old town of dali, and then transfer to the pleasant Zhoucheng village. Walk through its old streets to meet its inhabitants (learn more about the process of dyeing batik, exercised here for generations) and its small obsolete but charming temples. Lunch during the visit. Then discover the small and quiet Xizhou village. We suggest you to spend the night in a superb and very comfortable traditional house in local Bai style. Not far from there, you will access to a promontory offering nice views on all Erhai lake. Return to the hotel by bicycle. Small ceremony of traditionnal tea (three teas ceremony). Free dinner adviced at the hotel’s restaurant.

  • Day 3
    Xizhou – Shaxi
    (3 hours of road. Altitude : 2050m)
     
    Visit the morning market of Xizhou not far from your hotel. Morning road to Shaxi. Lunch of local specialities at your arrival in a beautiful familial home in a small secluded village surrounded by ricefields. In the afternoon, discovery of the Shibaoshan mountain, a superb whole buddhist sculptures engraved in rock and very peaceful temples. After the visit, possible descent by foot by a small path leading to the old town of Shaxi, if not by vehicle. Accomodation in the heart of the old town of Shaxi in an ancient caravanserai superbly reaccomodated with all the necessary comfort, which have formerly been usefull to accommodate the merchants borrowing the main tea caravane road and the horses in which Shaxi has been one of the great commercial exchanging center. Free dinner at the very tasty hotel’s restaurant.

  • Day 4
    Shaxi – Lijiang
    (2 hours and 30 minutes of road. Altitude : 2300m)
     
    In the morning, road to the main valley of Lijiang, with along the way a stop in the old town of Jianchuan, still unknown. Arrival for lunch in the heart of the old town of Lijiang. Installation in a superb charm hotel in a calm area. In the afternoon, discovery by foot in the morning of the old town of Lijiang, starting with Lion hill, offering beautiful views of all Lijiang with 360°, then a descent to the Mu palace, a former ruling family on the prosperous Lijiang region.

  • Day 5
    Lijiang
    (4 hours of bicycle)

    Bicycle day in the Lijiang’s surroundings. Departure to the small village of Shuhe, that you will cross by bike, to then join the one of Yuhu. Lunch taken in a Naxi family’s minority in the Yuhu small village, located at the foot of the Jade mountain’s dragon (summit at 5600m). Back through the small village of Baisha, and meeting with the locally famous Doctor Ho, speciality of medicinal plants (possible consultation!). Back to Lijiang, with a stop at the Black Dragon pond park if the weather allows it. Accomodation in a charming hotel in the heart of the old town.

  • Day 6
    Lijiang - Zhongdian Tiger Leaping Gorges
    (2 hours by car + 5 hours of walking. Altitude : 2100m)
     
    Morning road towards Qiaotou village, marking the beginning of the hiking through the Tiger Leaping Gorges. Rising path during 2 hours and 30 minutes, then straight path for two more hours of walking.
    You will need to bring your personnal stuffs with you for this night in the mountains. One or several mules (according to the size of the group) will be planned to carry your luggages. Stop for lunch along the way. Take your time to rest from the long path, and admire the views on the Jade Dragon’s mountains. Arrival in the afternoon at the Tea Horse Guest House located in a natural and pleasant frame. Dinner on site.

  • Day 7
    Lijiang - Zhongdian
    Today’s program: Hiking from Halway hostel to Tina’s. Hiking from Tina’s to half-slope of Tiger Leaping Gorges. Hiking from Xincun Village to the bottom of Tiger Leaping Gorges (Daju). Our guide and driver will conduce you from Lijiang to Zhongdian.
    Hiking from Halfway hostel to Tina’s : go down to Tina’s guest house (aproximately 2 hours), where you are able to admire some pretty waterfalls and canyons along the way.
    Hiking from Tina’s to half-slope of Tiger Leaping Gorges. One hour’s walk through the steep cliff on the bank of the Jinsha River, the cult of the dangerous shoal "Starriness", it is the narrowest part of the gorge, where a tiger can easily jump over the Jinsha River.
    Hiking from Wincun village at the bottom of the Tiger Leaping Gorges (Daju). From Xincun village to the inferior section of the gorge (aproximately 1h30-2 hours) where you will be able to take the ferry crossing the Daju River.

  • Day 8
    Zhongdian
    Today’s program: Songzanlin temple, visit of a Tibetan family.
    Songzanlin temple: it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist lamasery in Yunnan Province. In Shangri, many Tibetans live there. Covering an area of 33.3 hectares, the Songzanlin lamasery was built in the style of the Potala Palace in Lhasa and represents the Tibetan culture. The statue of Buddhists and many precious cultural treasures will leave you with an unforgettable memory.
    Visit to a Tibetan family which allows to experiment the life of the local Tibetan people, you will be greeted with a Tibetan tea and local snacks.

Voyage au Vietnam.

Tout d’abord merci pour cette très bonne organisation de notre voyage madame VU a toujours été à notre écoute avant et pendant notre séjour.
 
 
Concernant les points forts
 
1/ hôtellerie de très bonne qualité nous avons été surclassé quatre fois, au sylverland où on nous a proposés le dernier jour une suite , au famiana de Phu Quoc où nous avions une villa front beach ,au classy superbe suite et à la résidence wat boo .
 
A noter les hôtels suivants pour vos clients français :
La résidence watboo a siem reap
Le Grace boutique hôtel a mui ne
Famiana à Phu Quoc mais il faut une villa front beach pour éviter les nombreux russes Le silverland . trés bon hôtel nous avons sympathisé avec M VU KHAC DUY . exécutive assistant manager et nous recommandons cet hotel .
 
Il faut éviter l ‘arnaque de coucher chez l ‘habitant (du moins cette adresse.)
 
2/ Guides :
A anchor le guide exceptionnel très grande culture très serviable au top .
Entre siem reap et Phnom Penh le guide un peu limite à Phnom Penh très bon guide bonne qualité bonne culture serviable .
 
À Saigon et sur le trajet Mékong madame Lan n ‘est pas très professionnelle et peut être un peu dépassée.
nous avons vu le dernier jour plus de bâtiments autour de l hôtel qu’avec elle elle n ‘a pas de culture sur l ‘histoire les musées fait au pas de course c ‘est dommage nous étions en permanence à lui poser des questions souvent évacuées .
Sur le Mékong le Cochinchine très bon guide qui s est très occupé de nous très bonnes explications très belles balades visite à recommander à vos clients.
 
3/ voitures et chauffeurs toutes les voitures à compter du deuxième jour superbes chauffeurs très professionnels .
Merci encore nous ne manquerons pas de vous recommander auprès de nos relations

Je suis né à Hanoï d’un père militaire français qui a « fait l’Indo ».
J’ai voulu faire découvrir le Vietnam à mes 2 filles étudiantes sous l’angle « nature et culture » mais surtout leur faire rencontrer des gens authentiques et découvrir leur vie de tous les jours.
 
Plus que les traditions, l’histoire et les paysages, ce sont les Vietnamiens eux-mêmes qui sont la vraie richesse de ce pays, que j’avais déjà visité il y a une dizaine d’années.
J’ai donc choisi un opérateur local et Mandarin Road et leur programme a totalement répondu à mes demandes, parfois très personnalisées, notamment avec les séjours et les repas chez l’habitant.
On a ri, on a chanté, on a connu de grands moments de joie.

  Nous tenions à vous féliciter pour l’organisation de notre séjour en Thaïlande « Charmes de la Thaïlande »
 
Des vacances au cours desquelles vous avez su faire preuve de maitrise et de professionnalisme, autant l’accueil a l’arrivée a l’aéroport de Bangkok, le choix de l’hôtel, la qualité et l’exactitude horaire des différents transferts.
Tout cela nous a permis d’apprécier pleinement la découverte de la Thaïlande en toute sérénité. C’était notre premier voyage en Asie et nous redoutions car de plus nous ne parlons pas l’anglais et évidemment pas le thaï. 
Nous remercions particulièrement Mme Tina Vu et Mme Anna Nguyen pour leur efficacité a bien comprendre nos désirs en matière de découverte et a les satisfaire. Nous ne manquerons pas d’utiliser a nouveau vos services pour un futur voyage mais cette fois ci au Vietnam.

Un grand merci à Mandarin Road ! Très bonne organisation du voyage (liaison de transports, planning des activités). L’équipe (et surtout Tina) était à notre écoute et répondait de manière très réactive à nos besoins éventuels. La nourriture était de bonne qualité tout au long du voyage. Mention spéciale pour notre séjour à Siemp Reap : guide super, bel hôtel, planning bien actif.
Points d’amélioration éventuels :
         Le fait d’aller à Can Tho a représenté beaucoup de routes (4h-5h) pour quelques balades sur place. Pour nous ça ressemblait aux activités déjà faites dans le centre (cours de cuisine, balade sur des rivières/fleuves) .
         L’hôtel à Can tho n’était pas de bonne qualité.
         Super guide au sud qui connaissait vraiment beaucoup de choses.
         Siem Reap : le guide a changé un peu le programme pour nous permettre l’ensemble des monuments à voir. Apparemment tous les beaux monuments à voir n’était pas prévus dans le programme initial.
Les + :
         Siemp reap
         La baie d’Along
         Hanoi : visite de la ville  et des musées avec le guide
          Hué : ville impériale

Bonjour,
 
Je prends finalement le temps de vous écrire un petit mot pour vous dire comment nous avons tellement aimé notre voyage.  C’était la première fois que nous faisions un voyage avec un guide et un chauffeur juste pour nous.  Nous avons vraiment aimé que la personne en charge de nous chez Mandarin Road nous contacte la première journée de notre voyage pour s’assurer que nous allions bien.
 
Nous avons aimé le fait qu’il y avait de la flexibilité tant lorsque c’était le choix de préparer notre itinéraire que lors du voyage. Siri nous demandait quand nous avions faim et si nous lui disions que nous voulions arrêter pour prendre un café ou aller aux toilettes, il n’y avait jamais de problème.  Nous avons beaucoup aimé arrêter dans des endroits non touristiques pour manger. Siri nous présentait le menu et les spécialités.  Nous n’avions pas peur d’essayer de nouvelles choses.
 
Siri était toujours de bonne humeur et nous comptait pleins d’anecdotes ou de l’histoire. Elle pouvait jaser à la fois avec nous ou avec nos garçons d’histoire, de culture ou même de sa vie de famille.  Pour nous il était très important de voir comment vivent les Thaïlandais et nous avons adoré toutes nos discussions. Elle nous faisait goûter des choses que nous n’aurions pas eu le courage de goûter par nous-même.
 
Il y a des journées où nous étions fatigués et nous ne voulions pas faire de shopping. Elle n’hésitait pas à modifier l’horaire pour nous permettre de nous reposer d’avantage. Nous avons eu un petit incident dans un salon de massage et elle a pris cela en mains et a contacté la propriétaire pour régler la situation. Nous avons vraiment apprécié.
 
Nous n’hésiterons pas à faire appel à vos services si jamais nous désirons faire un autre voyage où nous pouvons y aller avec un guide.
 
C’est vraiment une excellente façon de voyager.
