  • Day 1
    Arrival in Kunming
    (1 hour of road. Altitude : 1800m)
    Arrival at mid-day in Kunming. Welcome by your french speaking guide, and then transfer to the New Era 4* hotel, well located in the city center of Kunming.
    Visit in the afternoon of the Western moutains, constituted of lots of small Taoist temples and oratories, offering beautiful views on the city of Kunming and the great Dianchi Lake.
    Welcome dinner at the excellent Laofangzi restaurant located in a beautiful traditional Chinese residence in the old neighborhood of Kunming. In the evening, attend the magnificent singing and dancing show "Dynamic Yunnan", great choreographies and minority songs from Yunnan (8.00pm to 9.50pm).

  • Day 2
    Kunming. Night train to Dali
    (2 hours and 30 minutes of road)
    In the morning, you will visit the Stone’s forest, unusual site made up of astonishing stones of elongated shapes... Picnic lunch planned in the park in a quiet place away from tourists, otherwise just next to the park in a classic chinese restaurant. Upon your return to Kunming, visit the Yuantong temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in Kunming, then walk to Emerald lake, where the locals like to meet to sing, dance and play music. Free dinner before the transfer to Kunming station for the night train to Dali. Night spent in the train in a soft sleeping compartment.

  • Day 3
    Dali - Xizhou
    (1 hour of road. Altitude : 1900m)
    Meeting with your new guide and driver at your arrival in Dali’s train station. Transfer to the old town of Dali, and it’s small still quiet streets, to have breakfast. Stroll by foot through the old town of dali, and then transfer to the pleasant Zhoucheng village. Walk through its old streets to meet its inhabitants (learn more about the process of dyeing batik, exercised here for generations) and its small obsolete but charming temples. Lunch during the visit. Then discover the small and quiet Xizhou village. We suggest you to spend the night in a superb and very comfortable traditional house in local Bai style.
    Then take a local ox-driven cart to access your small boat for a cruise on the large Erhai lake, and a traditional fishing party with the cormorants. Return to the hotel. Small ceremony of traditional tea (three teas ceremony). Free dinner at the hotel restaurant.

  • Day 4
    Xizhou - Shaxi
    (3 hours of road. Altitude : 2050m)
    Visit the morning market of Xizhou not far from your hotel. Morning road to Shaxi. Lunch of local specialities at your arrival in a beautiful familial home in a small secluded village surrounded by ricefields. In the afternoon, discovery of the Shibaoshan mountain, a superb whole buddhist sculptures engraved in rock and very peaceful temples. After the visit, possible descent by foot by a small path leading to the old town of Shaxi, if not by vehicle. Accomodation in the heart of the old town of Shaxi in an ancient caravanserai superbly reaccomodated with all the necessary comfort, which have formerly been usefull to accommodate the merchants borrowing the main tea caravane road and the horses in which Shaxi has been one of the great commercial exchanging center. Free dinner at the very tasty hotel’s restaurant.

  • Day 5
    Shaxi – Lijiang
    (3 hours by road. Altitude : 2300m)
    In the morning, road to the main valley of Lijiang, with along the way a stop in the old town of Jianchuan, still unknown. Arrival for lunch taken in a Naxi minority family in the small village of Yuhu, located at the foot of the Jade’s dragon mountains (summit at 5600m).
    In the afternoon, you will be visiting through the Baisha village, and meeting with the locally famous Doctor Ho, speciality of medicinal plants (possible consultation!). Also discover the small Puji temple, isolated, offering great views of the Lijiang valley. First discoveries of the old town of Lijiang. Accommodation in a charming little hotel in the heart of the old town, in a still quiet area.

  • Day 6
    Lijiang
    Discovery by foot in the morning of the old town of Lijiang, starting with Lion hill, offering beautiful views of all Lijiang with 360°, then a descent to the Mu palace, a former ruling family on the prosperous Lijiang area. Visit the Lijiang market. Lunch in the old town. Also discoverery in the afternoon at the Black Dragon pond park, located just outside the old town. Free time remaining for an individual discovery of this charming old town.

  • Day 7
    Lijiang - Zhongdian
    Today’s program : look out further for the first turn of the Changjiang, Shigu Pier, and Tiger Leaping Gorges. Our guide and driver will take you from Lijiang to Zhongdian.
    Look further for the first turn of the Changjiang : surrounded by rivers and mountains, with an altitude of 1850 meters above the sea level, the first bay of the Yangtze has a picturesque landscape. In addition, it is an important ferry that the joints inside and the old route to trade tea and horses in Tibet.
    Shigu pier : located 68 km away west of Shigu next to the Jisha River which is a part of the Yangtze River. The Shigu pier has become an important place for a very long time.
    Tiger Leaping Gorges : one of the four great gorges of the world - It is located in the village of Hutiaoxia and in the Zhongdian county and honored as one of the deepest and marvelous gorges in the world .

  • Day 8
    Zhongdian
    Today’s program : Songzanlin temple, visit of a Tibetan family and campfire in their home. Songzanlin temple : it is the largest Tibetan buddhist lamasery in Yunnan Province. In Shangri, many Tibetans live there. Covering an area of 33.3 hectares, the Songzanlin lamasery was built in the style of the Potala Palace in Lhasa and represents the Tibetan culture. The statue of Buddhists and many precious cultural treasures will leave you with an unforgettable memory.
    Visit to a Tibetan family which allows to experiment the life of the local Tibetan people, you will be greeted with a Tibetan tea and local snacks.
    Visit to a Tibetan family and bivouac fires  in their home, which allows to experience the life of the local Tibetan inhabitants, you will be greeted by Tibetan tea and local snacks.

Nous voilà revenu du Vietnam et du Cambodge il y a peu de jours.
Tous les amis du groupe de voyage et moi-même, nous voulons remercier Mandarin road et toute son équipe pour le très beau voyage que vous nous avez organisé aussi bien les paysages, les différents sites touristiques que les guides, les restaurants et l'hôtellerie.

Bonjour Tina,
Nous voilà bien rentrés - depuis une semaine -  de notre voyage au Vietnam/Siem Reap, avec beaucoup de belles images dans la tête et nous voulons vous remercier pour l'organisation de ce voyage.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la diversité de ce que nous avons pu voir et des expériences vécues, durant nos différentes étapes: les sites, les monuments, les visites culturelles, les populations, la cuisine. Nous aimons partager tout cela avec nos amis à présent.
Coté "logistique", tout s'est bien passé aussi: les guides étaient intéressants et à l'écoute, dans des styles différents, les voitures étaient confortables et les chauffeurs ponctuels et efficaces.
Nous avons aussi bien mangé dans l'ensemble et aimé la cuisine vietnamienne. Quant aux hôtels, ils étaient pour la plupart conformes à nos attentes et confortables. Pour celui de Hoi An,remplaçant l’hôtel prévu, pour préciser mon  mail précédent, la chambre était correcte, soyez rassurée. C'est le petit déjeuner qui nous a "étonné", car nous n'avions encore jamais vu cela dans nos voyages: il fallait choisir un seul item dans une petite carte très réduite et en outre, nous avons dû attendre une demie heure l’omelette que nous avions commandée alors que nous étions les seuls clients présents...
Mais c'est un désagrément vraiment minime par rapport à l'ensemble du séjour chez vous !
Nous avons aussi apprécié votre réactivité lorsqu'il a fallu changer quelques points du programme.
Au total donc une belle expérience !
Nous vous souhaitons ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe Mandarin une belle fin d'année 2017.

Voyage au Vietnam.
 
Bonjour,
 
Tout d’abord merci pour cette très bonne organisation de notre voyage madame VU a toujours été à notre écoute avant et pendant notre séjour.
 
 
Concernant les points forts
 
1/ hôtellerie de très bonne qualité nous avons été surclassé quatre fois, au sylverland où on nous a proposés le dernier jour une suite , au famiana de Phu Quoc où nous avions une villa front beach ,au classy superbe suite et à la résidence wat boo .
 
A noter les hôtels suivants pour vos clients français :
La résidence watboo a siem reap
Le Grace boutique hôtel a mui ne
Famiana à Phu Quoc mais il faut une villa front beach pour éviter les nombreux russes Le silverland . trés bon hôtel nous avons sympathisé avec M VU KHAC DUY . exécutive assistant manager et nous recommandons cet hotel .
 
Il faut éviter l ‘arnaque de coucher chez l ‘habitant (du moins cette adresse.)
 
2/ Guides :
A anchor le guide exceptionnel très grande culture très serviable au top .
Entre siem reap et Phnom Penh le guide un peu limite à Phnom Penh très bon guide bonne qualité bonne culture serviable .
 
À Saigon et sur le trajet Mékong madame Lan n ‘est pas très professionnelle et peut être un peu dépassée.
nous avons vu le dernier jour plus de bâtiments autour de l hôtel qu’avec elle elle n ‘a pas de culture sur l ‘histoire les musées fait au pas de course c ‘est dommage nous étions en permanence à lui poser des questions souvent évacuées .
Sur le Mékong le Cochinchine très bon guide qui s est très occupé de nous très bonnes explications très belles balades visite à recommander à vos clients.
 
3/ voitures et chauffeurs toutes les voitures à compter du deuxième jour superbes chauffeurs très professionnels .
Merci encore nous ne manquerons pas de vous recommander auprès de nos relations

Je suis né à Hanoï d’un père militaire français qui a « fait l’Indo ».
J’ai voulu faire découvrir le Vietnam à mes 2 filles étudiantes sous l’angle « nature et culture » mais surtout leur faire rencontrer des gens authentiques et découvrir leur vie de tous les jours.
 
Plus que les traditions, l’histoire et les paysages, ce sont les Vietnamiens eux-mêmes qui sont la vraie richesse de ce pays, que j’avais déjà visité il y a une dizaine d’années.
J’ai donc choisi un opérateur local et Mandarin Road et leur programme a totalement répondu à mes demandes, parfois très personnalisées, notamment avec les séjours et les repas chez l’habitant.
On a ri, on a chanté, on a connu de grands moments de joie.

  Nous tenions à vous féliciter pour l’organisation de notre séjour en Thaïlande « Charmes de la Thaïlande »
 
Des vacances au cours desquelles vous avez su faire preuve de maitrise et de professionnalisme, autant l’accueil a l’arrivée a l’aéroport de Bangkok, le choix de l’hôtel, la qualité et l’exactitude horaire des différents transferts.
Tout cela nous a permis d’apprécier pleinement la découverte de la Thaïlande en toute sérénité. C’était notre premier voyage en Asie et nous redoutions car de plus nous ne parlons pas l’anglais et évidemment pas le thaï. 
Nous remercions particulièrement Mme Tina Vu et Mme Anna Nguyen pour leur efficacité a bien comprendre nos désirs en matière de découverte et a les satisfaire. Nous ne manquerons pas d’utiliser a nouveau vos services pour un futur voyage mais cette fois ci au Vietnam.
