  • Day 1
    Arrival in Hanoi
    Arrival at the airport of Noi Bai. Transfer to the hotel. Visit of Hanoi "the city located below the Red River". Walk in the residential area where are the former Palace of the Governor General of Indochina, the house and the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the single pillar pagoda. Then the temple of Mount Jade, ride rickshaw in the old district guilds. Lunch and dinner in town. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 2
    Hanoi, visit of the city
    Continue to visit Hanoi: the Temple of Literature (1st Vietnamese University of the 11th century), then the Temple of Grand Genius and the pagoda of the Defense of the Motherland located on the edge of the Great West Lake. Lunch in town. Afternoon is spent on a pedal boat or boat ride on West Lake. In the late afternoon: visit a school. In the evening: puppet shows on the water. Dinner in town and overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3
    Hanoi – Mai Chau
    At 8am, welcome by our guide and our driver to your hotel. Let's take the road to Mai Chau through beautiful mountain landscapes planted with tea trees. Arrival at the valley of Mai Chau towards noon, calm and splendid, below the road: it is a beautiful puzzle that lurks the rice fields cultivated by white Thais, whose hamlets are scattered around the borough. Installation at Mai Chau Ecologde. After lunch, we discover the beautiful ethnic villages, including Na Thia, Nhot, Pom Coong, Lake and Chieng Chau by bike for 2 hours. You will be pleasantly surprised not only by the nature of this region but also by the kindness and warm welcome of local people. In the evening, you participate in a traditional dance show with Ruou Can (local wine). Dinner and overnight at Mai Chau Ecolodge.

  • Day 4
    Tam Coc –Bai Tu Long Bay
    Ninety-five miles from Hanoi, in Ninh Binh province, is home to a wealth of Vietnam's rich historic heritage, such as the country's former capital city until the 11th century. The province of Ninh Binh attracts visitors with its historical grandeur, spectacular shows and a rich culture destination. Thinking about Ninh Binh, we think of the inevitable ones like the city of Hoa Lu which is the ancient capital of Vietnam operating under the two Dinh dynasties, Thung Nan (the valley of the sun) with part of the Halong Bay terrestrial and its Bai Dinh pagoda, which is today one of the largest Buddhist centers in Southeast Asia. After breakfast, you will head to Ninh Binh province. Arrival in Hoa Lu, you will visit the ancient capital of Vietnam under the Ly dynasty and the previous one. Discovery of the two temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le. Breakfast in a local restaurant. Then you will go on an excursion in a rowing boat on the Tam Coc River (three caves). The cruise will last about 2 hours. Tam Coc is a small village whose inhabitants organize walks on the Ngo Dong River. You will see the rocks having the appearance identical to the phoenix, the mandarin hat, the turtle ... It will be magnificent. Sometimes, the river will merge with the rice fields and give you the impression of sailing on a real sea. What a nice cruise! In the late afternoon, bike ride to visit Bich Dong Pagoda and Thai Vy Temple. Dinner in town and overnight at the hotel..

  • Day 5
    Tam Coc – Halong. Night in a junk
    Halong Bay is known as the 8th wonder in the world thanks to its beautiful landscapes, superb caves, clean air and rich biodiversity. With an area of 1500km2, and more than 3000 limestone islands, Halong Bay is truly a surprising destination. Exploring Halong Bay on the Oriental Sails Cruise - one of the best 3-star cruises in Halong Bay.

    08h00 - 08h30 Departure in 3.5 hours at the Hon Gai International Harbor, visit the private waiting room of Oriental Sails JSC - The OS Lounge.
    12h30 - 13h00 Welcome aboard, embark on oriental sails followed by a cruise briefing.
    13h00 - 15h30 Enjoy local seafood while Eastern Sails sail along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay.
    15h30 – 16h30 Visit of the fishing village

    They are interested in local daily life: Take a trip by wooden oar boat (about 45 minutes) around the fishing village of Vung Vieng - one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen. The village is located in a closed lagoon, surrounded by mountains, excellent facilities for good photos. It is a chance to know better the daily life of the fishermen of the village. After the visit, you could swim around the boat.

    16h30 - 17h30 Return to the Oriental Sails and get some rest while the sun begins to set.
    17h30-19h00 Enjoy Happy Hour at the bar and solarium and join our cooking class with Oriental Sails Chef
    19h00 Dinner is served. Take part to other activities, night squid fishing or singing activities are available until 22:00.

    Ha Long – Hanoi
    Hanoi - was Thang Long which means dragon in flight while Halong Bay means the descent of the dragon. According to a legend, this one would have descended in the bay to domesticate the marine currents. With the movements of his tail, he cut deeply into the mountain. This is a beautiful story explaining the origin of the bay of thousand islands, islets and limestone rocks.

    06h30 – 07h00 Start your day with a Tai Chi exercise on the terrace.
    07h00 – 09h00 Catch the morning view of the seascape with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast on a cruise to Thien Canh Son Cave.

    Hanoi - Hue
    Transfer to Noi Bai airport and plane to Hue. Arrival and visit of Hue, ancient capital of the feudal emperors of the Nguyen of the 19th century. It has the most luxurious palaces and royal tombs of Southeast Asia, the most delightful gardens. With the perfume river, the harmonious hills, Hue is still the city of poetry. Visit the imperial city, Dong Ba market. Lunch and dinner in town. Night at the hotel.

    Hue
    Boat cruise on the perfume river to visit the pagoda of the Old Lady Celestial with its famous octagonal tower overlooking the river, the tombs Minh Mang, Khai Dinh, Tu Duc in an enchanting site planted with pines and dotted with ponds ...; the eunuchs pagoda. Lunch and dinner in town. Night at the hotel.

    Hue – Da Nang - Hoi An

    Drive to Da Nang and Hoi An. Pass on Cloud Pass, a spectacular mountain road. In Da Nang (Ex-Tourane), visit Cham Museum which contains the largest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Continue to Hoi An, a village with a unique charm that was, under the name of FaiFo, one of the most prosperous ports of Asia of the 17th century. The architecture of Chinese temples, pagodas and homes of wealthy merchants is remarkable. City Tour: Central Market, Tan Ky House, Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple. In the late afternoon: Boat trip on the Thu Bon River for the direction Cua dai mouth. Lunch and dinner in town. Night at the hotel.

    Hoi An – Da Nang - Saigon

    Back to Danang, stop at the Marble Mountains. Flight to Saigon. Installation at the hotel. Then discover the city, "the pearl of the Far East", the largest city and the largest port in the country. Visit: the former Catinat Street, the Cathedral, the History Museum, the Cho Lon Market, the Temple of the Jade Emperor, the Temple of the Protecting Goddess of the Sailors Thien Hau. Lunch and dinner in town and overnight at the hotel.

    Saigon – Cai Be
    Departure for the Mekong Delta, huge and fertile plain that constitutes the rice granary of Vietnam. Arrival in Caibe and cruise on the Bassac boat. The Bassac II is built entirely of wood, in a shell of gỗ sao, the Vietnamese essence traditionally used for quality boats - something that is now rare. It accommodates 24 passengers in 12 cabins including a shower room and toilet en suite, and has a very large upper deck covered with a wooden roof and bamboo trellis to accommodate meals and evenings in greater numbers. It can therefore, in combination with the Bassac I, take groups of up to 36 passengers on a cruise. It is also possible to arrange a child bed between the beds of a TWIN cabin on the Bassac II, just make sure that you specify it when booking. All the cabins are insulated against noise, and their windows are double-glazed. Regarding the environment, the Bassac II is equipped with heat exchangers for hot water, controlled by an automaton that maintains the constant pressure and temperature in the showers, and septic tanks. It carries city water in sufficient quantities for long cruises. Fire protection, and in general safety, are also central in the study of the boat, which is equipped with sprinklers and fire detection. Boarding at noon near the floating market of Cái Bè. Welcome drink, presentation of the boat and the crew, installation in the cabins. Departure to Chợ Lách, downstream on the Tiền Giang River. Lunch on board during the journey, rest on the upper deck, around the bar. Bifurcation in the Chợ Lách canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of rice barges and sand, in a decor of fruit dryers and shipyard for wooden boats. Visit a village on the bank of the Măng Thít River, an opportunity to approach the way of life and hospitality of the inhabitants of the region. Visit the orchards or rice fields nearby. Boarding, welcome drink on board. The open bar rest on the bridge for sunset. The crew serves dinner while the Bassac is en route to Măng Thít. The Bassac drops anchor down the small floating market of Trà ôn, for the night.

    Tra On – Can Tho – Saigon
    Breakfast is available from 6.30 am as the boat moves to the floating market at Trà ôn. Then it is the departure towards Cần Thơ. Arrival at the floating market of Cái Răng, restitution of the cabins and transfer on a lighter boat for the visit of the market, arroyos and orchards, and return to the pier Ninh Kiều. Arrival at Ninh Kiều, Cần Thơ, late morning. End of shore services in Cần Thơ late morning. (Please note that you leave the Bassac definitely when boarding for the last visit).

    Return by road to Saigon. Lunch along the way. Arrival in Saigon and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Saigon.
