    Visit of the city and of the Wat Prabouddhajinaraj temple sheltering a very pretty statue of Buddha dating from the 13th century. In Sukhothaï, visit of the historic park : Wat Mahatat, Wat Srasri, and Wat Trapung Nguern. Road to Chiang Rai, have a break at the Phayao lake and in the pineapple fields where you will be able to taste fresh fruits. Overnight at your hotel.

    Chiang Rai – Golden triangle - Chiang Mai
    Departure for an encounters day and unknown feelings at the discovery of the Yaos and Akhas mountainous tribes in Maechan.You will go on towards the Golden triangle and the Mekong, natural boundary between Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Stroll in motorized canoe on the Kok river until the Karens village. Road towards Chiang Mai. Overnight at your hotel.

    Visit of an elephants dressing camp where you will attend at the training and bathe of the elephants. Visiting a farm with orchids. Overnight in a sleeper train to Bangkok, an opportunity of many exchanges with the Thai population.

    Bangkok – Flight to Mandalay – Visit of the city
    Breakfast at the hotel, transfer at the airport. Flight to Mandalay.At your morning arrival at Mandalay’s international airport, our experienced driver will welcome and transfer you to your hotel. After the check-in at the hotel, you will be brought to the pier for a boat stroll until Migun, which is located at 11 km away above Mandalay on the West shore of the Ayeyarwaddy. Discovery of the Mingun’s unfinished pagoda and the Myatheindan’s pagoda and a gigantic bell of 90 tons, the largest of the world which is still intact. The 45 minute cruise is a very good way to discover the daily life around the Ayeyarwaddy. Back to Mandalay. In the evening, you will be transported until Mandalay’s hill (230 meters high) from where you are able to observe a wonderful sunset on the town. Back to Mandalay.

    Mandalay – Sagain – Ava
    Breakfast at the hotel. Vistit of the main sites of Sagain. Kaung Hmu Daw pagoda : built in 1636 by the Thalon king in order to commemorate the establishment of Inwa as the new capital of Myanmar. Discovery of the very pretty hill of Sagain whose flanks are endowed with numerous pagodas and monasteries. It is probably the heart of the Buddhist culture within Myanmar of today. Visit of the Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin pagoda (built in 1312) as well as the U Min Tonzeh, U Min Chaukzeh and Min Koezeh pagodas. Afternoon’s visits program : First of all you are going to embark on board of a small boat on the Ayeyarwarddy. The tour begins with the monastery of Maha Augmye Bonzan : the building made of bricks and stucco built by Nanmadaw Me Nu, the Queen of Bagyidaw in 1822, locating on the south shore of the Ayeyarwaddy (north of Inwa). Then, Bagaya Kyang (60 feet tall and 9 of circumference) and Nanmyint Hmyawzin (Nanmyint’s point of view). You won’t be able to enjoy the panoramic view because its ascent is not allowed at this period. Finally you will cross through the U Bein bridge and enjoy a wonderful sunset. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

    Mandalay - Monywa
    Breakfast at the hotel. Beginning of the road to Monywa (140 km – 4 hours).
    In the afternoon, you will visit the Thanboddhay pagoda which is located at aproximately 20 kilometers away from Monywa. Inside, you will be able to observe hundred of Buddha’s representation (more than 500,000) which decorate each wall, arch and niche. The building presents also interesting jakata bas-reliefs. Overnight at the hotel in Monywa.

    Monywa – Pakokku – Bagan
    Breakfast at the hotel. The morning, road to Pakkoku. It is a small authentic village known in the tobacco business sector but also for its workshops of silk manufacture. The stroll along the river will allow you to discover the daily life of the local population. Then, visit of the local market during which you will discover a true traditional outdoors market along with very diversified products in sales such as fresh fruits and vegetables, textiles, craft objects and many other things. You will discover a true traditional open-air market with very diverse products in sales such as fresh fruits and vegetables, textiles, handicrafts and much more. If the timetables allow it, we will continue the visits with Thanaka’s seller, the cigar factory, the slippers manufacture workshop as well as a wood engraving workshop. You will then enjoy a private cruise on the Ayeyarwaddy until Bagan (around 3 hours). At your arrival at Bagan you will be transferred at your hotel to enjoy the remaining of the day as you want to.     Bagan – Visit of Bagan
    Breakfast at the hotel. Visits : Nyaung Oo market, Shwezigon pagoda : it is in fact a prototype of the future stupas which will be built in Myanmar. Then, Kyansittha and the Kandawplin pagoda : on the road between Nyaung and New Bagan, near the architecture museum, is located this 2 floors temple which is one of the largest and imposing of Bagan. Then the Thatbyinnyu pagoda : built in 1144 by Alaungsithu, it is the highest temple of Bagan. It is made of 4 floors of a with a height of 207 feet. Finally, visit the Shwegugyi Pagoda and the Tharabar gate. This is the best preserved remains of the wall of the 9th century but also the only door still standing today. It has been built by Pyinbya Min, the first king of Bagan. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

    Bagan - Heho – Inle lake
    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer at Bagan’s airport for your flight to Heho. At your arrival at Heho’s airport, you will be directly lead to Inle lake. If the timetabes match, you will be able to visit the market of Mine Thauk as well as Phaung Daw Oo floating market where you will be able to see many hill’s tribes inhabitants purchasing and selling local products but also discover traditional fishing technics as well as the villagers’ daily life on the lake. Afternoon’s visits : Phaungdaw pagoda, beautiful floating gardens, Nga Phe Chaung monastery, workshops for goldsmiths, a traditional silk factory, a forge and a cigar factory. Overnight at the hotel at Inle lake.

    Inle lake – Indein – Inle lake
    After breakfast, you will leave on a cruise towards Indaing (on the West shore of the lake). The stroll will allow you to observe farmers who cultivate their fields. This cruise is one of the most interesting and most beautiful to make on the Inle lake. The beauty of the sunset will enchant you. Overnight at the Inle lake.

    Inle lake – Sagar visit – Inle lake
    Breakfast at the hotel. Beginning of the excursion in Sankar (Sagar) and Thakong in motorized boat via Nampan. The journey will last aproximately 2 hours. Visit of Kyauk Daing market, a Shan village which principally lives of the business of its potteries. During your stroll by foot in the village of Sankar, you will be able to observe traditional rice mills that actually work thanks to harnesses of oxen and discover the culture and lifestyle of the Pa-O and Intha ethnic groups around Sankar and Hmawbi. Then, excursion on the lake to admire the beautiful scenery. Overnight at the hotel at Inle lake.

    Inle lake – Yangon
    After breakfast, transfer at the airport. Back to Yangon through a domestic flight. Arrival in Yangon and check-in at the hotel. If you wish it, you will be able to go shopping at the Bogyoke market (closed on Monday). It is an ideal place to buy traditional and untraditionnal craft objects as well as small antiquities, jewelry items or other memories. In the evening, enjoy a beautiful sunset from the Shwedagon pagoda and its bazaar. The beautiful and imposing Shwedagon pagoda (100 meters tall) and one of the wonders of the world. It has been built 2 500 years ago and shelters Buddha’s relics. It is a place of devotion and meditation. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

    Yangon visit
    Breakfast at the hotel. Start the visit of Yangon which will include Sule’s pagoda. According to the legend, it would be 2000 year old and its central stoupa would contain a hair of Buddha. During a walking tour you will discover the unique charm of Yangon with its colonial architecture which appears in places such as the Town Hall or the High Court of Justice. In the evening, visit of the Botahtaung pagoda (which contains also relics of Buddha), Mahabandoola’s park along with former buildings of colonial style. You will be able to discover Yangon’s pier. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Bonjour Tina,
Nous voilà bien rentrés - depuis une semaine -  de notre voyage au Vietnam/Siem Reap, avec beaucoup de belles images dans la tête et nous voulons vous remercier pour l'organisation de ce voyage.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la diversité de ce que nous avons pu voir et des expériences vécues, durant nos différentes étapes: les sites, les monuments, les visites culturelles, les populations, la cuisine. Nous aimons partager tout cela avec nos amis à présent.
Coté "logistique", tout s'est bien passé aussi: les guides étaient intéressants et à l'écoute, dans des styles différents, les voitures étaient confortables et les chauffeurs ponctuels et efficaces.
Nous avons aussi bien mangé dans l'ensemble et aimé la cuisine vietnamienne. Quant aux hôtels, ils étaient pour la plupart conformes à nos attentes et confortables. Pour celui de Hoi An,remplaçant l’hôtel prévu, pour préciser mon  mail précédent, la chambre était correcte, soyez rassurée. C'est le petit déjeuner qui nous a "étonné", car nous n'avions encore jamais vu cela dans nos voyages: il fallait choisir un seul item dans une petite carte très réduite et en outre, nous avons dû attendre une demie heure l’omelette que nous avions commandée alors que nous étions les seuls clients présents...
Mais c'est un désagrément vraiment minime par rapport à l'ensemble du séjour chez vous !
Nous avons aussi apprécié votre réactivité lorsqu'il a fallu changer quelques points du programme.
Au total donc une belle expérience !

Tout d’abord merci pour cette très bonne organisation de notre voyage madame VU a toujours été à notre écoute avant et pendant notre séjour.
 
 
Concernant les points forts
 
1/ hôtellerie de très bonne qualité nous avons été surclassé quatre fois, au sylverland où on nous a proposés le dernier jour une suite , au famiana de Phu Quoc où nous avions une villa front beach ,au classy superbe suite et à la résidence wat boo .
 
A noter les hôtels suivants pour vos clients français :
La résidence watboo a siem reap
Le Grace boutique hôtel a mui ne
Famiana à Phu Quoc mais il faut une villa front beach pour éviter les nombreux russes Le silverland . trés bon hôtel nous avons sympathisé avec M VU KHAC DUY . exécutive assistant manager et nous recommandons cet hotel .
 
Il faut éviter l ‘arnaque de coucher chez l ‘habitant (du moins cette adresse.)
 
2/ Guides :
A anchor le guide exceptionnel très grande culture très serviable au top .
Entre siem reap et Phnom Penh le guide un peu limite à Phnom Penh très bon guide bonne qualité bonne culture serviable .
 
À Saigon et sur le trajet Mékong madame Lan n ‘est pas très professionnelle et peut être un peu dépassée.
nous avons vu le dernier jour plus de bâtiments autour de l hôtel qu’avec elle elle n ‘a pas de culture sur l ‘histoire les musées fait au pas de course c ‘est dommage nous étions en permanence à lui poser des questions souvent évacuées .
Sur le Mékong le Cochinchine très bon guide qui s est très occupé de nous très bonnes explications très belles balades visite à recommander à vos clients.
 
3/ voitures et chauffeurs toutes les voitures à compter du deuxième jour superbes chauffeurs très professionnels .

Je suis né à Hanoï d’un père militaire français qui a « fait l’Indo ».
J’ai voulu faire découvrir le Vietnam à mes 2 filles étudiantes sous l’angle « nature et culture » mais surtout leur faire rencontrer des gens authentiques et découvrir leur vie de tous les jours.
 
Plus que les traditions, l’histoire et les paysages, ce sont les Vietnamiens eux-mêmes qui sont la vraie richesse de ce pays, que j’avais déjà visité il y a une dizaine d’années.
J’ai donc choisi un opérateur local et Mandarin Road et leur programme a totalement répondu à mes demandes, parfois très personnalisées, notamment avec les séjours et les repas chez l’habitant.

Des vacances au cours desquelles vous avez su faire preuve de maitrise et de professionnalisme, autant l’accueil a l’arrivée a l’aéroport de Bangkok, le choix de l’hôtel, la qualité et l’exactitude horaire des différents transferts.
