  • Day 1
    Houay Xay
    Arrival on the other side, passage to Laotian customs. Welcomed by our French Laotian guide, you will be transferred to the hotel. Free time for your installation. Visit this remote village in northwestern Laos and Wat Chom Khao Manilat: This prosperous monastery overlooks the city and the river. Built in 1880, the Shan style teak temple houses a 1485 stele donated by a former prince of Chiang Khong. Villages of the Lanetene ethnic groups in the surrounding villages. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2
    Visit Houei Xay
    You will go west to the site of Souvanakhounkham, on the border of Thailand and Burma. Recently accessible to visitors, at the entrance of the famous Golden Triangle, Souvanakhounkham can only be reached after a short walk through the rice fields, in a green and unspoilt area. On the site, you will visit the old Wat and its big statue of Buddha, and you will admire interesting reliefs going back, essentially, to the time of King Setthathirath (sixteenth century). Return to Ban Hui Xay in the afternoon. Overnight at Houei Xay.

  • Day 3
    Houei Xay – Pakbeng
    (7-8 heures of cruises)
    After breakfast, board a private local boat with a roof. The descent of the Mekong at a slow and relaxing pace will allow you to take some pictures and admire the landscape where many remote villages of the world seem to live peacefully along the river nourished. In the late afternoon, arrival and installation at Pakbeng Lodge. Overnight at Pakbeng Lodge.

  • Day 4
    Pakbeng – Elephant ride
    After breakfast, you will go to elephant camp for an elephant ride:
    - You will observe the elephant bath from one of the two footbridges
    - After swimming, you will ride on the elephants, start of the ride. The walk begins with the river surrounded by a bamboo plantation. The path then goes into the forest. Then, the horizon emerges, offering an exceptional point of view on the parades. At the bend of the road, we can see the Mekong below. Then, the elephants cross a H'Mong village. Finally, it's back to camp. Then, free time. Overnight at Pakbeng Lodge.

  • Day 5
    Pakbeng – Kamu Lodge
    After breakfast, board a boat to Kamu Lodge. The Kamu Lodge is made up of 20 tents, each covered with a thatched roof, to blend in with the natural environment and protect them from the elements, while being harmoniously decorated in the local style. Each tent is equipped with bamboo and wooden furniture. Each bathroom has hot water thanks to a solar shower system. Arrival at Kamu Lodge, welcome drink. Overnight at Kamu Lodge

  • Day 6
    Kamu Lodge – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang
    After breakfast, you can participate in optional activities:
    - Demonstration (with possible participation) of rice cultivation and transplanting in the rice fields bordering the Lodge.
    - Gold panning in the Mekong (January to June). Everything you find will be yours!
    - Walk in the forest with information on traditional medicinal plants.
    - Trekking to a magnificent waterfall 15 m high (2 hours of walking and boating).
    - Net fishing in the Mekong with tasting of catch!
    - Discovery of a minority village and meeting with its inhabitants.
    - Crossbow shooting.
    After you are rested, departure by boat for Luang Prabang in the afternoon. Stop en route to the Pak Ou caves. Located 2 hours upstream from Luang Prabang, the Pak Ou Caves are home to several hundred lacquered gold Buddha statues crammed into two impressive cliff sites. Their size varies from a few centimeters to the size of a human being. The caves are also an important destination for pilgrimages. Once in Luang Prabang, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

  • Day 7
    Luang Prabang
    Optional: very early in the morning, around dawn, you can see the long lines of Bonzes coming out of their pagoda and walk the streets to receive food offerings from the faithful. A unique show that takes place every day of the year ...
    After breakfast, discover the former Royal Palace, today converted into a National Museum where you will admire the Pra Bang, the attributes of royal power, bronze drums, etc ... You will continue with the Wat Mai temple known for its gilded bas-reliefs counting the life of one of the reincarnations of the Buddha and you will admire the splendor of Vat Xieng Thong, richly decorated and located at the confluence of the Nam Khan and Mekong. Visit Wat Than Luang, then Vat Visoun, entirely rebuilt from Delaporte's sketches following the invasion, looting and destruction of the city in 1887 by the "Black Pavilions", pirates from southern China. You will also visit Vat Aham right next door, where is the altar of the two main geniuses of Luang Prabang. Visit the evening Hmong market where you will find ethnic handicrafts. Night at the hotel.
    SPÉCIAL: At the end of the day, you will participate in a "Baci". Mixture of animism and Buddhism, this ceremony is specific to Laos: it aims to "call minds" to the one who invokes them before performing an important task or to live a major event (birth, marriage, journey, etc.) (The Baci ceremony only, no traditional dance).

  • Day 8
    Luang Prabang – Kuang Si – Flight for Vientiane
    (35km/ 45 minutes of road)
    After breakfast, excursion to the falls of Kouang Si. Possibility of bathing on the spot. A perfect place for calm and relaxation. Lunch in the form of a picnic. Return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon to take the flight to Vientiane. On arrival in Vientiane, welcome by your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 9
    Vientiane
    After your breakfast, your day will be spent visiting the main monuments: The Wat Sisaket temples, dating from 1818, one of the most beautiful and important of the capital. It is the only one not to have been destroyed during the Siamese invasion and it includes traditional parts of the Laotian monastery. Wat Ho Phra Keo, where you can admire beautiful pieces that are one of the main riches of Laotian art, Wat Simuang, considered the lucky temple of the city. The Patuxai, a small triumphal arch that sits at the northern end of Lane Sang Street and visit That Luang, the country's most popular monument, is both a religious symbol and a symbol of the unity of the country. In the afternoon, visit the Buddha Park where you can walk, see the Hindu and Buddhist representations of BUDDHA. Then visit the ethnic park. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 10
    Vientiane – Flight for Pakse – Wat Phou – Khong Island
    Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight to Pakse. Arrival in Pakse, embarkation in a local boat for a quiet descent of 1h30 min to the old capital of the South, Champassak. Transfer by road to the fabulous site of Wat Phou, classified since March 2002 as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This temple dates from the pre-Angkorian period. After lunch departure by road to the largest of the islands in the southern Mekong, Khong, where you will spend the night. Night at the hotel.

  • Day 11
    Khong Island – Area of 4000 islands
    After breakfast, departure by motor canoe for a cruise through the labyrinth of waterways formed by the tropical paradise of Siphandone, "4000 Islands". During the rainy season, the Mekong reaches a width of 14 km; when the waters recede, they leave behind a myriad of islands and islets. Visit the islands of Deth and Som to discover the way of life of local fishermen. Arrival on the island of Khone. Discovery of the colonial remains of the island of Khone and continuation to the falls of Liphi, where lives a colony of freshwater dolphins. Overnight at Khong Island.

  • Day 12
    Khong Island – Tadlo
    Breakfast at the hotel. Road back to Tadlo. Located in the extreme north-east of the Bolovens plateau, abundant with trees, industry like tea, coffee, cardamom, vegetables and fruits. On the plateau, you can also visit the villages of ethnic minorities: Alak, Lawe, Katu, Ya Heune ... .and a beautiful eco-tourism site at Pha Xuam. Arrival at Tad Lo, installation in a bungalow, located at the edge of the Sexet river in the forest. Overnight at Tad Lo Lodge
    Included meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Day 13
    Tad Lo – Tad Yuang – Pakse – Flight for Luang Prabang
    (100km/1-2 hours of road)                
    Breakfast at the hotel, departure to Tad Yuang Falls. You will continue to Pakse for the flight to Luang Prabang. Meet at Luang Prabang Airport and transfer to the hotel for installation. Dinner free. Night at the hotel.

Bonjour Monsieur Tony DUONG,

Nous venions vous remercier pour ce beau voyage au Vietnam qui s'est bien passé grâce à vous pour l'élaboration du circuit, et grâce à vos guides à nos côtés pour les visites.
Notre guide à Hanoï était trés compétente et trés professionnelle, et nous a accompagné jusqu'à l'aéroport pour Hué.

 

Puis nous avons rencontré notre Guide HUE à Hue qui nous a agréablement surpris par sa maitrise de la langue française, sa compétence professionnelle, son humour, nous l'avons beaucoup appréciée, elle a toujours été à l'écoute de ce que nous souhaitions.

Les chauffeurs aussi ont été parfaits et les véhicules confortables et en bon état.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé les derniers jours à Hoi-An où nous avons découvert des petits villages, fait du vélo ... avec notre guide.

La seule chose que nous regrettons un peu est le côté trop touristique de la baie d'Along, il y avait beaucoup de monde et deux personnes de notre famille ont été malades aprés le premier repas pris sur le bateau (problème alimentaire ???).

Cela a un peu gâché les deux jours. Nous pensons qu'il vaudrait peut-être mieux proposer un circuit sur une partie de la baie moins touristique.

En conclusion, nous avons pu voir beaucoup de choses en peu de temps et cela grâce à votre organisation sans faille, et aux bons guides et chauffeurs.

Merci pour tout. À noter, les hôtels de qualité, toujours bien placés. Les repas étaient toujours dans des endroits superbes, surtout le repas d'accueil le premier soir à Hanoï ...Nous avons bien apprécié la formule demi-pension nous laissant libres le soir. Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander votre agence à des amis ou des proches.

Nous venons vous exprimer tous nos remerciements pour les visites que vous nous aviez préparées, visites qui nous ont donné entière  satisfaction :

Les qualités des  guides et des chauffeurs étaient à la hauteur de nos 

attentes.

Les guides maitrisaient parfaitement la langue française

Tel que demandé, il me fait plaisir de vous transmettre en mon nom et celui de ANNE toutes notre appréciations pour notre récent voyage au Vietnam. Nous avons adoré presque toutes les régions. Chaque endroit avait sa particularité, soit les montagnes avec les rizières, le baie d'Halong, les visites culturelles, les ethnies etc. Sans oublier la belle ile de Phu Quoc. La logistique fût excellente; il n'y a eu aucun retard. Nous fûmes reçu d'une façon très chaleureuse partout. Mais notre plus grande découvertes est le peuple Vietnamien, accueillant, chaleureux et toujours souriant, même si parfois certains vivent dans des conditions difficiles. En terminan, nous croyons que votre atout principal pour supporter toute la logistique du voyage est la compétences de vos guides. Ils étaient très connaissant de la culture Vietnamienne et professionnels dans leur travail tout en gardant une belle simplicité. Pour nous ils étaient comme des amis. Si possible leur dire que nous pensons à eux.(Vy, Kinh, Thang, Joseph.

 

Concernant les photos, je vais vous en faire parvenir lors d'un prochain email. J'ai eu un problème avec mon logiciel mais le tout devrait être corrigé bientôt.
